New in College Cloud: Automatic Lecturer Scheduling with Review Before Execution

Existing screenshot of sessions and the timetable in Priza’s college management system

Scheduling lecturers requires coordinating the college's needs with each lecturer's details. We have added an automatic mechanism to Priza's comprehensive college management system that proposes a schedule, saving manual planning work and staffing effort.

Scheduling That Takes Lecturers into Account

The mechanism considers each lecturer’s constraints, the number of lessons they want to teach and the subjects they are qualified to teach. The proposed schedule therefore draws on the teaching team’s relevant details instead of being arranged manually.

Review First, Then Execute

The proposed schedule can be reviewed before execution. College staff can examine the proposal and then execute the schedule in the system after the review stage. Automation saves staffing effort in arranging the schedule while keeping the college in control of the result.

Assignments in the Lecturer’s Personal Area

After the schedule is executed, lecturers see their assignments in their personal area in the system. The process moves from a scheduling proposal to review and execution, and finally to displaying assignments to lecturers — within one comprehensive college management system.
